Gallery/Artist Agreement
1, Acceptance of Booking
1.1 The Hansard Studio (the venue) reserves the right to accept or decline your request to hire the venue for an exhibition or event. Your hiring of the venue includes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1.2 You warrant that all information supplied to The Hansard Studio is accurate, and up to date.
1.3 You agree to have your artworks and accurate descriptive information displayed on The Hansard Studio website for the purpose of your booking the venue.
1.4 You will inform The Hansard Studio of any changes required to the information displayed on the website for the duration of your booking including name, address and contact details, pricing of artworks, and the sold status of any artworks.
1.5 The Hansard Studio reserves the right to accept or decline to market or promote any event through the website for any reason at our sole discretion.
1.6 If your booking is accepted, you are agree to provide your artwork and make it available for the entirety of the booked period of the event/exhibition.
1.7 You warrant that all work sold through an event/exhibition is free of any copyright restrictions or intellectual property disputes and that you are authorised to display and sell all artworks.
1.8 You are responsible and liable for costs of all materials, packaging, delivery and insurance costs. These costs cannot be reclaimed from the venue under any circumstances and should be taken into account when making any booking at the venue
1.9 The venue will not accept claims for reimbursement in the event of damage to Artworks under any circumstances.
1.10 You accept that if you have not taken adequate insurance for an event, that you will be liable for the costs of any damaged artworks.
1.11 All payments for events/exhibitions should be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer at least a week before the event is due to open.
1.12 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Hansard Studio, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third parties, from your use of the service, including any violation of these rules.
1.13 The venue is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranty of any kind including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
1.14 This Agreement is entered into in England and shall be governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any cost, action or proceedings, and to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these rules and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
1.15 Using the service constitutes acceptance of these rules.

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you (the exhibitor) and The Hansard Studio, the supplier of the service. Your statutory rights are not affected. A binding contract between The Hansard Studio and exhibitor is formed once the initial booking confirmation payment fee has been made or a signed booking agreement has been received via email or letter.
